For over 20 years, has been creating and defining the tax function at Budimex Capital Group as Head of Taxes. Specializes in comprehensive tax management, including strategic tax advisory and business partnering. Is a member of the Budimex Compliance Committee.
Her expertise also encompasses the automation of tax processes and the implementation of modern technological solutions in the tax domain.
Act as the Leader during Budimex accession process to the Co-operative Tax Compliance Program and actively works to promote the values that form the pillars of this program. Also participates in the think-tank formed by the Ministry of Finance during public consultations on the development of subsequent guidelines for the management and assessment of the Internal Tax Control Framework
Barbara is also a member of the Business Centre Club Tax Committee.
Regularly speaks at conferences, sharing knowledge on tax risk management (and more broadly: the tax function), transparency, and the role of the tax department as a strategic partner in the organization. Promotes the concept of a broad understanding “Where is T in ESG”.
Graduate of the Faculty of Finance and Banking at SGH and postgraduate studies at the Leon Koźmiński Academy: Professional Supervisory Board. Co-author of the commentary on the VAT Directive edited by Krzysztof Sachs and Roman Namysłowski, and several articles on tax topics.
