Master in chemistry, securities broker, Ph.D. in law, capital markets and corporate governance expert.
Participant in the legislative works on capital market and company law at national and EU levels. Author of numerous publications, both scientific and popularizing, lecturer at seminars and workshops on capital markets, corporate governance and business ethics.

He has worked for several market institutions: brokerage houses, Warsaw Stock Exchange, Securities and Exchange Commission, Polish Financial Supervision Authority, Association of Financial Companies in Poland.
Former member of the supervisory boards of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Bank Handlowy w Warszawie SA and The European Go Cultural Centre in Amsterdam. Former president of the Polish Association of Brokers and Investment Advisors, later on arbiter and chair of the Disciplinary Court. He was an arbiter and mediator at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, a member of national and international organizations of capital markets and corporate governance (among others: CESR, IOSCO, OECD, EFFAS, ACIIA) and also advisory teams and expert groups of the European Commission, ESMA and EIOPA.
