Marek Tymkiewicz is currently an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Zakłady Magnezytowe “ROPCZYCE” SA and serves as an advisor to the Management Board of Grupa ADAMIETZ SA, coordinating investment and optimization matters for the holding.
For the past 20 years, he has served as CFO for companies within the Warsaw Stock Exchange listed capital groups ROPCZYCE SA and KOPEX SA, as well as private companies BUMAR Łabędy, and since 2017, CTL LOGISTICS, a holding of railway logistics companies operating in CEE, owned by the American fund Compass Partners International. Previously, he worked for private equity funds in Warsaw as Investment Director and Chairman of Supervisory Boards, being responsible for corporate governance and the sale of over 20 entities to strategic investors, including the largest one, Inter Cars SA, through a listing on the WSE.
Throughout his career, he was responsible for developing market strategies, financial restructuring, and coordinating M&A processes, working with major financial institutions such as Bank of America.
As a member of the management board and Chief Financial Officer, he coordinated the work of the Capital Group’s finance, accounting, tax, controlling, and IT teams within Shared Service Centers, collaborating on an ongoing basis with leading auditors and tax advisors: KPMG, PWC, and Deloitte.
Marek Tymkiewicz holds a master degree and is a graduate of the Faculty of Materials Science and Ceramics at the AGH University of Science and Technology. He also completed postgraduate studies in Economics at the University of Economics in Kraków.
