Monika Nachyła is a partner and member of the Investment Committee at the private equity firm Abris Capital Partners. She is responsible for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) policies and standards, investors’ relations, and oversight of portfolio companies. She has worked for many years with private equity firms operating in the CEE region.
As an experienced supervisory boards’ member, she serves on the Supervisory Board and Audit and Strategy Committees at Orange Polska S.A., and is also a member of the Supervisory Board of the Graal Group. After receiving approval from the ECB in June 2024, she was appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee at Siauliu Bankas in Lithuania. In the past, she has served on the Supervisory Boards and Audit and Risk Committees of BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. and Bank BGŻ S.A. She also sat on the Supervisory Board and Audit Committee of Allianz Polska and Euler Hermes. She has held the role of Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board at Mykogen and Velvet Care, as well as being a member of numerous supervisory boards of portfolio companies of the private equity funds Innova Capital and Enterprise Investors in Poland, Romania, and Slovakia.
She is a member of the Advisory Council of the United Nations Global Compact, and in the past, she served on the board of the Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, participating in the development of reporting standards for the private equity industry within the framework of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. She is also the founder of the Polish branch of Level20 – an organization promoting careers in private equity among women. She is actively involved in mentoring programs and initiatives that promote diversity in organizational management.
Monika is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, holding postgraduate degrees in Social Psychology and Food Studies from SWPS University and Agriculture from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). She has worked as an auditor at Arthur Andersen Poland and Salustro Reydel France, was the finance director at Sanofi (now Sanofi-Aventis) and served as a management board member for strategy and development at BGŻ Bank
