Expert and practitioner in the field of finance of global capital groups (insurance business, banking, asset management) with over 25 years of experience gained while working in renowned consulting firms and for leaders of the financial market.
He began his professional career at Price Waterhouse and PricewaterhouseCoopers in the audit and advisory department for banks and financial institutions. In addition to auditing financial statements, he participated in consulting and privatization projects, including those commissioned by the National Bank of Poland, PKO BP, Bank of America, and JP Morgan.
From 2001-2015, he was associated with the PZU Group, where he was responsible for the financial accounts of PZU and PZU Życie SA, reporting to the Warsaw Stock Exchange, valuation of the investment portfolio, implementation and optimization projects in the financial (including building shared service centers, implementing the ERP system), tax and governance disciplines, and advised on acquisition projects . In the privatization project of PZU SA, he held responsibility for the financial part of the prospectus . He also served as the president of the management board of PZU Tower, where he carried out the reorganization of the real estate management function within the Group . As a member of the management board of the Latvian insurance company Balta, he supervised the integration process with the PZU Group after its acquisition from RSA Insurance Group Limited.
He possesses extensive senior executive experience, which also includes building MedTech start-ups, comprehensive restructuring of investments in the portfolios of banks and investment funds, as well as advisory and optimization projects for companies owned by the State Treasury and private sector entities in the service and logistics, healthcare, and renewable energy industries, including those listed on NewConnect.
He served as a member of the Supervisory Boards of PZU Tower sp. z o.o., Uzdrowisko Konstancin Zdrój SA, Stilo Energy SA. He is the Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board and a member of the Audit Committee of Pocztowe Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń na Życie SA.
He is a graduate of English Studies at the University of Łódź and a member of the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is a participant in the Eurekans Management Development Programme dedicated to senior management of international capital groups.
