Rafał Rybski is a seasoned expert in the management and development of the fitness and cinema industries, as well as strategic consulting. He has over 20 years of experience managing large enterprises, specializing in M&A transactions, restructuring, and international expansion.
From 2018 to 2024, he served as CEO of Fit Invest International, a company within the Benefit Systems S.A. group, a leader in the non-wage benefits market in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. He was responsible for the development of fitness chains and the execution of key M&A transactions worth hundreds of millions of złoty. He led international operations in the fitness market, successfully restructuring and developing clubs in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, and Bulgaria.
For one term (4 years), he served as an active member of six Supervisory Boards of foreign companies (Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Slovakia, and Croatia) within the Benefit Systems S.A. group.
From 2000 to 2014, he co-founded and developed the Cinema City cinema chain in Poland and Romania, serving as COO of Cinema City Poland, leading its expansion and operational optimization. He served as a board member of numerous cinema companies and an amusement park, achieving significant financial and development results.
He also has experience in strategic consulting, copyright law consulting, and working in the entertainment industry. He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology Business School and from training institutes in Switzerland and Poland, enhancing his leadership and management skills.
He actively supported the development of the cinema industry, serving as the long-time president of the New Cinemas Association, where he negotiated key legal regulations for the film market. He is currently involved in mentoring and developing leadership competencies, supporting them in building strong teams and developing business strategies.
He combines his passion for sports and travel with professional commitment, drawing inspiration from physical activity and personal development. He is a mountain enthusiast year-round.
