Expert and practitioner in the field of capital and financial market entities, accounting, taxes and corporate governance.
Wiktoria is a certified Statutory Auditor, serving as a Member of the National Disciplinary Court in the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors. She is also an arbitrator of the Arbitration Court at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Since 2016, she has been supporting the justice system as a court expert in auditing, economics, finance, accounting, bookkeeping, and taxes at the District Court in Warsaw and the Warsaw-Praga District Court in Warsaw.
Wiktoria has over 30 years of professional experience. She has worked in managerial positions in finance, accounting and tax units for many industries, including among others: telecommunications, insurance, leasing, development, media, publishing, including public finance entities. She has participated in large number of projects, in particular restructuring, optimization of structures and processes, creation of corporate governance procedures, merger and acquisition undertakings (M&A), tax optimization, controlling, audits, due diligence, auditing and review of financial reports.
From May 2019 to the end of 2022, she served as an independent member of the supervisory board of the publicly listed company Mirbud S.A. In addition, from July 2020 to December 2022, she was an independent member of the supervisory board and a member of the audit committee of a public interest entity – Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne PZU S.A., where in December 2022, she was chosen to the board, where she served as a Board Member until mid-October 2024, responsible for finance and operations, managing two pension funds – “Otwartym Funduszem Emerytalnym PZU „Złota Jesień” ” and „Dobrowolnym Funduszem Emerytalnym PZU”.
Currently she is an independent Member of the Supervisory Board and Chair of the Audit Committee at Michael / Ström Investment Fund Company S.A.
Graduated with a master’s degree from Faculty of Mathematics from the Taras Shevchenko State University in Kyiv and a master’s degree in Economics from the Faculty of Finance and Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics. She also completed postgraduate studies in “Project Management” at the Warsaw University of Technology and postgraduate studies in “Business and Legal Aspects of Restructuring and Bankruptcy” at the Kozminski University.
