Andrzej Konopacki

Andrzej started his professional career as a statutory auditor at Coopers & Lybrand in 1991. From 1995 to 2016 he worked as a director at Price Waterhouse (after merger renamed PricewaterhouseCoopers, and then PwC).

His responsibilities included leading audit and review projects, accounting advisory, implementing International Financial Reporting Standards, internal control systems and trainings regarding standards, regulations and best practices of financial and regulatory reporting.

Andrzej was also very active at Polish Institute of Statutory Auditors, i.a. representing the Institute in legislative process of the modern Act on statutory auditors, audit firms and statutory auditors self-government enacted in 2009 r., chairing internal Audit Oversight Commission (term 2011-2015). He also conducted a number of trainings and lectures on audit quality control and wrote two textbooks and number of articles devoted to audit.

From 2017 to 2022 he was the member of Supervisory Board, chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the Compensation Committee at Amica SA, listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange.
