Barbara Stęchły
Barbara Stęchły is a manager with many years of experience in management, banking, and finance, with a passion for the development of organizations and people. Over the years, she has held key managerial roles in financial institutions such as BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A., Raiffeisen Bank Polska S.A., and Bank BPH S.A., managing large, dispersed business teams (over 2500 employees).
Since 2018, she has been the Managing Director of the Individual and Business Clients Division at BNP Paribas, responsible for the quality and development of client segments as well as business objectives.
Barbara’s experience includes conducting interbank mergers, omnichannel and agile transformations, and managing sales networks and product tribes. As a promoter of ESG, she has expertise in managing ESG products and educating employees and clients.
In 2010, she introduced and developed the private banking brand Friedrich Wilhelm Raiffeisen in RBPL in the Polish market, with her responsibilities also including oversight of RBPL’s Brokerage Office.
As the Chairperson of the EFPA Poland Board, she has been involved in the development of financial education and financial advisory standards in Poland for 16 years. She is one of the leaders of the "Women Changing BNP Paribas" program, which supports the development of women in the organization. Barbara has also served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of TFI Raiffeisen.
Barbara is a graduate of the Cracow University of Economics in the field of Finance and Banking and the Warsaw University of Technology in Management. She has completed prestigious programs, including Mastering Sustainable Finance ESG at the University of Cambridge, New Technologies and its Impact on your Leadership and Business Strategy (Harvard Business Publishing), and the Harvard Leadership Academy. She has passed the exam to become a Member of the Supervisory Boards of State Treasury Companies.
