Henryk Ciesielski

Henryk Ciesielski has over 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and restructuring advisory across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. He has supported clients in both traditional acquisition processes and complex transformation situations, including distressed M&A. Over the years, he has advised companies and private equity funds on value creation programs, post-merger integration, strategic option analysis, and growth financing.

Thanks to his professional experience across Western and Eastern Europe, he has frequently assisted Polish companies and investors in solving complex cross-border challenges, including cultural, structural, and regulatory aspects. Currently, as a Director at enomyc, he focuses on strategic restructuring, distressed M&A transactions, and debt advisory, particularly in the context of market disruption and business transformation.

Previously, he held leadership positions at Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps), American Appraisal, and Deloitte, where he managed valuation, transaction, and transformation projects. He has served as a member of the investment committees of venture capital funds, is an active business angel, and collaborates with impact investing organizations. He also lectures on corporate finance and valuation at institutions such as Kozminski University in Warsaw. Henryk holds an Executive MBA in Mergers & Acquisitions from the University of Münster and is a Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst (CEFA). He is a co-founder and former President of the Association of Restructuring Professionals.
