Katarzyna Burek
Katarzyna is an independent member of the supervisory board of Starward Industries S.A. Previously, she was a member of the supervisory board of Polska Agencja Ratingowa S.A. (rating agency) and Pekao TFI S.A. (investment fund company). She also served as the chairwoman of the audit committee of the Polska Agencja Ratingowa S.A.
Since 2012, she has been a polish certified auditor and member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). A graduate of Finance and Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics.
She is a specialist in finance, accounting, reporting and auditing, in particular in financial institutions. Currently, managing director of the finance and accounting division at Noble Securities S.A. She gained experience in director and managerial positions in companies such as Generali Investments TFI S.A., Centralny Dom Maklerski Pekao S.A., Biuro Maklerskie Banku Pekao S.A. and KPMG Audyt Sp. z o.o. sp.k. Since 2018, a member of the jury of the Best Annual Report competition in the field of management board reports.
