Magda Kowalska
An equity professional with over 25 years of experience in minority equity investing in developing markets, mainly, Central and Eastern Europe and North Africa. Magda joined the EBRD in 2009 and is responsible for the EBRD's direct equity investments with focus on Central Europe and the Baltics.
Earlier Magda headed private equity funds in Central and South Eastern Europe for Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (USD) dedicated to financing small and medium enterprises. She has led international operations and investment teams, transacted new equity investments and divested portfolios.
Magda has sat on boards as a non-executive director and represented financial minority investors across diverse jurisdictions, various sectors, and industries.
