Paweł Cygan
He is a graduate of the Wyzsza Szkola Biznesu - National Louis University in Nowy Sącz, a member of ACCA, a Chartered Auditor. He completed an MBA in Financial Management at the University of Hull in the UK.
He gained professional experience at Arthur Andersen / Ernst & Young in the area of financial audit and economic consulting, then from 2004 he worked at Vattenfall, where he was responsible for the development and management of internal audit as well as business consulting and supervision of key projects in the area of electricity sales and distribution.
From 2008 to 2016, vice-president of the management board, financial director of TAURON Dystrybucja and chairman of the supervisory boards of subsidiaries, including responsible for multiple optimization projects, M&A and implementation of key IT systems. In 2014, he was awarded in the category of large enterprises in the Financial Director of the Year 2013 competition organized by ACCA, Forbes and Euler Hermes, among others. "for the CFO's extensive involvement in difficult and complex processes in the company and for his influence on shaping the company's organizational culture." In 2010-2012, he represented the Polish Electricity Committee and the Polish Electricity Transmission and Distribution Society at Eurelectric as part of the task force on the EU budget after 2013. In 2016-2017, member of the management board, financial director at the Ożarów Group, and from 2017 r. managing director, the management board of Kirchhoff Automotive Polska, responsible for the overall activities of the company.
