Piotr Dziwok
President of the Management Board of Shell Polska (since 2011). During this period, Shell Polska has significantly improved its financial results, took over a competitive network of stations, became a supplier of natural gas to Poland and opened the first LNG stations. Turnover reached $ 2.5 billion a year, employment grew to 5,000 employees in offices and 4,000 in the retail stations. The company has been recognized three times with the Great Place to Work Award. Respect for diversity and equity become core values of the company – women represent majority of company’s employees and managers at highest positions.
Piotr Dziwok has been developing his international professional career over positions in Poland, South America, and Russia, chairing or being a member of companies’ country boards. He was involved in running business and projects across Africa, Asia, and Australia. He managed companies’ global structures and governing regional organizations in Europe, Americas, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.
Piotr Dziwok is specialized in business transformation and business development of enterprises in the marketing industry, B2B and B2C sales and distribution within local, regional, and global scope. A globally recognized expert in the field of modern business services and crisis management. He has extensive experience in managing shareholder engagements including representing shareholders’ interests. President of the Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL) – an organization grouping 220 companies employing 250,000 people; Vice-chairman of POPIHN Polish Board of Directors (Organization of Oil Industry and Trade) – association of companies from the fuel industry (Orlen, Lotos, BP, Moya and others); member of the Global Compact Network Poland Program Council (UN initiatives) – a network bringing together leaders of companies involved in responsible business and operating in the field of human rights, environmental protection, labor rights and freedom from corruption. Piotr Dziwok actively participates in meetings with the prime minister and ministers, expert organizations and NGOs discussing issues relevant to the industries in which the company operates, e.g., fiscal regulations, legislation, and employment.
Promoter of youth education, Member of the Off School Board - an organization supporting entrepreneurship of high school students; speaker at the Absolvent group - the organizer of student work fairs; guest lecturer at the Warsaw School of Economics, University of Economics in Krakow and the AGH University of Science and Technology. Graduate of the Moscow University of Technology, the University of Economics in Krakow and Katowice. He completed an elite MBA managerial program at the Carson School of Minnesota and was a student of IMD Business School in Lausanne.
