Beata Krzyżagórska-Żurek

Advocate, managing partner at Krzyżagórska Łoboda i Partnerzy s.p. She graduated from law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk in 1991. After graduation, she worked at the University of Gdańsk in the Department of Maritime Law under the supervision of prof. dr hab. J. Mlynarczyk. She passed the judge's exam in 1994 and the bar exam in 1996.

Beata Krzyżagórska-Żurek's professional experience includes business and corporate law, tax planning and consulting, and capital transactions.

Beata Krzyżagórska-Żurek carried out many M&A transactions, including project finance and private equity transactions, in particular, she participated (on the owners' side) in many transactions related to the entry of private equity funds into the company, and also co-created corporate governance in these companies . She participated in proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority in matters related to the activities of investment fund companies, investment funds, alternative investment funds, as well as in many other proceedings related to their activities. She has participated in many succession processes, including those involving foreign family foundations (foundations in Liechtenstein and Malta). She developed and implemented many international and domestic solutions ensuring the optimization of tax burdens. She has participated in tax and customs and fiscal proceedings before tax authorities and administrative courts. She co-created and implemented tax governance rules for clients.

Beata Krzyzagorska-Żurek participated in a number of international scientific programmes; practiced in American and British law firms; she gave lectures in the field of maritime, insurance and civil law at foreign universities, including the University of Uppsala in Stockholm, Sweden, and the University of Minnesota, USA.
