Iwona Gębusia
Iwona Gębusia is a doctor habil. of laws, researcher at the University of Warsaw. In addition, she is a legal advisor with many years of experience in providing legal advice to entrepreneurs, including public companies and financial institutions.
She is currently the chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Larq S.A. In the past, she was the vice-president of the Supervisory Board of Medinice S.A.
Iwona Gębusia participated in a number of transactions on capital markets, M&A, financing and provided advice on regulatory issues for financial institutions. She participated in a number of processes aimed at implementing legislative changes concerning, among others, activities of audit committees, supervisory boards, cooperation with audit firms and statutory auditors, and relations between the company and related entities, including the largest capital groups in Poland.
She is the author of a number of publications published by prestigious scientific publishing houses, in particular two monographs: “Subscription warrants” and “Company’s interest in Polish and European law”.
Currently, she cooperates with the Chamber of Notaries in Warsaw as a permanent lecturer of commercial law for trainee notaries of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of training. She is a recommended arbitrator of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce for the years 2021-2024. Iwona Gębusia is also highly qualified as a trainer, speaker and expert appearing in the mass media.
