Jakub Papierski
Jakub Papierski is a specialist in the field of banking and capital markets with over 25 years experience. Awarded with the Lesław A. Paga Award in 2021. He supported the largest Polish blue-chip companies on their way to the stock exchange and was involved in numerous capital raising transactions on the private market, operational restructuring and financing restructuring. For almost 12 years, until October 2021, he was the vice-president of the Management Board of PKO Bank Polski, supervising the investment and corporate banking division, and acted as the vice-chairman of the credit committee. He was a member of the supervisory board of the Marguerite fund, managing EUR 700 million of assets dedicated to infrastructure investments, as well as of numerous supervisory boards of companies in Poland and abroad. Before joining the management board of PKO BP, in 2001- 2009 he was associated with Bank Pekao SA (Unicredit), first as the CFO of the Bank, and then as the president of CDM Pekao SA, the largest brokerage house in the country at that time.
Holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certificate. A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, banking and finance.
