Joanna Makowiecka-Gatza
Experienced executive with over two decades of successful experience in executing strategic and operational change in challenging environments. Proven track record of driving transformation of listed companies in different industries. She has extensive experience in improving companies’ operational efficiency, strategy creation and business transformation both as CEO, board member and supervisory board chairwoman.
Currently CEO of Karmar SA and LinkCity Poland SA, Polish branches of the French industrial group Bouygues, listed on the CAC 40 in Paris. Also leading Global Bouygues Business Line in Life Science.
Graduate of the School of Management and Marketing, holding MBA diploma from the University of Warsaw in cooperation with Staffordshire University, University of Antwerp and Free University of Brussels. In 2013, completed the Advanced Management Program at IESE University of Navarra.
Since 2015 a Member of the Social Dialogue Council to the President of the Republic of Poland. Vice President of Employers of the Republic of Poland from 2017 to 2021, since 2022 President of the Council of Employers of the Republic of Poland.
