Małgorzata Kuczewska-Łaska
Małgorzata Kuczewska-Łaska is now an independent financial expert conducting her professional activity mainly in the areas of preparing independent expert opinions in the field of finance, accounting, management and restructuring, as well as out-of- court resolution of business disputes. Małgorzata is an expert witness and permanent mediator at the District Court in Warsaw, mediator of Social Dialogue, mediator of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and mediator of the Court of Arbitration at the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Poland.
She started her professional career in 1992 in the international consulting company KPMG Polska. Then, in the years 1995-2000, she worked in companies managing national investment funds: Westfund Sp. z o. o. and PTP-Kleinwort Benson Sp. z o. o. In the years 2001-2010 she was a member of the management board responsible for finance (CFO) in the following companies: BYFUCH S.A., PKP Przewozy Regionalne Sp. z o. o. (current name: Polregio S.A.), Instalexport S.A., and in 2016 in PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. In 2010-2013, she was the president of Przewozy Regionalne Sp. z o. o. (current name: Polregio S.A.). Sitting on the management boards she was focused on projects related to financial restructuring, risk management and improvement of economic efficiency. The implemented projects brought measurable positive effects and improved financial results of the companies.
Małgorzata is a graduate of the Foreign Trade Department at the Warsaw School of Economics and MBA studies at the International Executive Development Center in Bled, Slovenia. Since 2020 Małgorzata is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants based in London and holds the professional qualification of Fellow Chartered Management Accountant. In addition, in her professional career she has completed a number of training courses in management, finance and accounting, as well as completed training and postgraduate studies in the field of mediation.
In the past, she was a member of supervisory boards. She chaired the Supervisory Boards of the following companies: ELBUD Poznań S.A., ZWSE Kraków S.A., ZWSE Wrocław S.A., BYFUCH S.A. in Bydgoszcz, KFAP S.A. in Krakow, TOFAMA S.A. in Toruń and was a member of the Supervisory Boards in the following companies: SANWIL S.A. in Przemyśl, KPIS SA in Katowice and BELOS S.A. in Bielsko-Biała.
