Marcin Marczuk

Legal counsel at the OIRP in Warsaw (since 2005), graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.

Currently a member of the Supervisory Board and Audit Committee of WIKANA S.A., based in Lublin, and PJP MAKRUM S.A. with headquarters in Bydgoszcz as well as a member of the supervisory bodies of several non-public companies.

Marcin Marczuk gained supervisory experience as a member of the supervisory boards of the following public interest entities: BENEFIT SYSTEMS S.A., BERLING S.A., BETACOM S.A., DDPP SECURITIES S.A., GADU-GADU S.A. (now Napster Group), HERKULES S.A., PHN S.A., PROTEKTOR S.A., PREMIUM FOOD RESTAURANTS S.A., OPERA TFI S.A., TOTMES CAPITAL S.A., TRANSPOLONIA S.A., ZORTRAX S.A. or ZPC OTMUCHÓW S.A.

Between 1996 and 1999 employed at the SEC (now the FSC). In 1999-2003 engaged in the operations of the Board of Directors Office of the then public company Compensa S.A. Within 2003-2006 acted as a director of Board of Directors Office and Supervisory Board Office, proxy and spokesman for PTU S.A. (now Wiener TU S.A. Vienna Insurance Group). From 2007 to 2017, Managing Partner of the law firm Prof. Marek Wierzbowski and Partners.

Currently, acting as Managing Partner of the law firm Królikowski Marczuk Dyl Adwokaci i Radcowie Prawni sp.p. (KMD.Legal), where Mr. Marczuk is responsible for the practice of trading and transactions on the capital markets and provides legal advice to the commercial companies.

In 2022 he was elected an adjudicator at the NDS (KDPW) Court of Arbitration. Earlier he acted as an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration (II cadence) at the FSC. 0f 2020 ordinary member of the Association of Stock Exchange Issuers.

He is an active commentator on transactions and events in the capital market, speaker at numerous conferences, congresses or symposia. He also shares his extensive experience as an author and co-author of publications and articles in the trade press.

Co-author of commentaries on:  the Capital Market Law (2014, 2016, 2023), the Bond Law (2015, 2017), the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) (2016) or the AML Commentar (2022) (all published by C.H. BECK Publishing House)
