Monika Nachyła
Monika Nachyła is a partner and a member of the Investment Committee at the private equity firm Abris Capital Partners, responsible for ESG (Environmental Social Governance) policies and standards, investor relations, and oversight of portfolio companies. She has worked for many years with Private Equity firms operating in the CEE region.
As an experienced supervisory board member, she serves on the Supervisory Board and the Audit and Strategy Committees of Orange Polska S.A., she is the Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Velvet Care and a supervisory board member of the Graal Group. In the past, she has served on the supervisory boards and audit and risk committees of Bank BNP Paribas S.A. and Bank BGŻ S.A. She was also a member of the supervisory board and audit committee of Allianz Polska and Euler Hermes. She held the role of Chairwoman of the supervisory board of Mykogen and was a member of several supervisory boards of portfolio companies held by Private Equity Funds Innova Capital and Enterprise Investors in Poland, Romania, and Slovakia.
She is a member of the Advisory Board of the United Nations Global Compact. In the past, she served on the board of the Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association and participated in the development of reporting standards for the Private Equity industry as part of the European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association. She is also the founder of the Polish branch of Level20 – an organization promoting careers in Private Equity among women. She is engaged in mentoring programs and initiatives that promote diversity in organizational management.
She is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, holds a postgraduate diploma in social psychology and Food Studies from SWPS University, and in agriculture from SGGW. She worked as an auditor at Arthur Andersen Polska and Salustro Reydel in France, was the CFO of Sanofi (now Sanofi-Aventis), and a member of the management board responsible for strategy and development at Bank BGŻ.
